Perfect [DT 7Dots Studio]

Another layout created for 7Dots Studio and this time featuring papers from Messy Head Collection.

I had to get this photo scrapped! This is our oldest daughter , photo taken in class, her first year in high school. She looked so beautiful on this and I loved the soft pink hairband.

Even better when seeing through the Messy Head Collection and found the perfect matching paper.

Played some on the background with stencils, gesso and tape as well. Loved the elements from the same collection, they are so easy to use, and always finding some words/elements matching.

Pirate's Cave [DT 7Dots Studio]

Today is my day at 7Dots Studio and this time I have a layout for you with the gorgeous papers from the 9th Wave Collection.

The photos are from our trip to Mallorca this summer.
We took a catamaran along the coast of Mallorca and stopped by this gorgeous place.

Just look at the fabolous colors in the water!

Used a lot of medium on the background. Stencils, crackle paint, ink and stamps

Life - art journal - DT Art Anthology

Hi again friends!
I can't help it , but I just love art journaling.
As I said in my last post, I feel so happy when playing in my journals.
On this page I have played with some Colorations (Studio Blue and Timeless) by Art Antholgy.

Added a lot of water during the process, to get the "rising" lines.
After spraying on the page I used the Gesso with a stencil.

Also some molding paste with another stencil.
The "dots" (molding paste) I colored with Velvet - Tuxedo

The papers in this journal is watercolor paper from the journal by Vibeke Spigseth - Poppydesign for Panduro

Black and white pen are a good tool playing in my journals. The journaling here is from a tag by 7Dots Studio

Here are som cut outs from an art journal paper pad and also with some of the Gesso on top

Used some Velvet - Tuxedo on top of the dots

Julebakst - DT Poppydesign

Hei igjen!
Her er jeg tilbake med en layout for Vibeke Spigseth - Poppydesign.
Hun har designet masse herlige juleark for Panduro og arkene fra denne er fra en stor blokk med masse nostalgiske mønstre.

Disse bildene er fra juleforberedelsene i fjor. Jentene elsker å lage "gaffelkaker" (som vi kaller dem) så det er en tradisjon vi må ha med oss. Koselig er det også.

Her har jeg brukt et av arkene i den store blokken, 12x12 Paperpad, noen biter fra et annet, samt tape med røde hjerter og sorte prikker.
Jeg har i tillegg, under bildene, brukt flere av de små arkene fra "My book of Christmas"- paperpad

Har også brukt mange ulike stempler fra denne platen i tillegg til det herlige bakgrunnstemplet med tekst.

God Jul - julekort DT Poppydesign

 I dag vil jeg vise et julekort jeg har laget med de nye arkene til Vibeke Spigseth - Poppydesign, designet for Panduro.

Ja, det er visst snart jul, under to måneder til og det er vel på tide å starte produksjonen av julekort om alle jeg kjenner skal få et hjemmelaget kort i år også.

Her har jeg brukt arket "seasons greetings - It's snowing" Jeg elsker disse arkene i kalde pasteller!

Hi there, hope you all are having a good time!

I'm back with another art journal featuring Art Anthology .

I feel so happy when I get some time to play in my journals.
And oh I feel so lucky, to be on this amazing team, get to play with all these gorgeous products by Art Anthology!

I recently received a large box with all the new colors and of course, the new gesso.
I would like to rewrite the famous line "diamonds are a girls best friend" with "Art Anthology paints and gesso are a girls best friend" LOL. At least my friends.

Enough talking, here is my page. Lots of Velvet colors and the new Gesso.

Used some stencils together with the Fiesta (Velvet)

Stamped with the new black Velvet - Tuxedo (love it!!!!)

Look how the white Gesso looks on the black paint (Tuxedo), it's really looking good!

Decorated box - DT 7Dots Studio

Here is another project featuring 7Dots Studio.

This time I used an empty box, previously filled with journaling cards.

First I used some of the papers from Wonderland collection, inside and outside the box.

Then I made a panel with the wonderful Wavy Ocean pattern paper from 9th Wave Collection.
I just love that paper!

Made some tags with some left-overs from the above collections.

And maybe I'll put some candy in the box as well and use as a small gift for a friend.

I also used some gorgeous chipboard by UmWowStudio on the box:

Cala Millor - DT 7Dots Studio

Today is my day at 7Dots Studio and I want to show you the layout I created first.

I have wanted to make something with this photo for so long and when the papers in 9th Wave collection came I just knew exatly what to do with it!

My daughter showed me how to take panorama photos with my Iphone when we were in Cala Millor, Mallorca this summer (ehhh….my daughters are 15 and 12 LOL)
And I really loved how this particular photo turned out, love the colors of the sea and the pier.

And the photo was so perfect for this paper, with the same color tones!

Built up a bacground with cheese cloth, gesso, stamps, medium, stencils and mists.
I also used the gorgeous chipboard by UmWowStudio, with a layer of Inka Gold in different colors.

Who's next? Art journal

New art journal created for Art Anthology.  A box with all the new colors, some new Gesso by Art Anthology is waiting for me, somewhere in a postman's car. It was tried delivered on friday, but normally I'm at work at that time. Tried to pick it up at the post office on saturday, but the box where not delivered there either.
So hopefully I'll get the box tomorrow, I'm so exited about the new colors and the Gesso!!!

I always have some of my journals laying on my desk, ready to be used to mop up some colors, mists, paints etc when I’m working on different projects. That’s how nearly all my backgrounds are made. so here is one of those pages

And the final result: 

I have used Velvet: Basil, limeaid and Mardi Gras, Sorbet: black leather jacket and Colorations Sangria and Guacamole.
I used a resistant canvas chair and misted with the colorations (in the bottom right corner)

And the eyes are cut out of a magazine:
