Back to school - art journal featuring Art Anthology

Hi folks, hope you all are well!
School has just started here in Norway, our youngest now in 8th grade (we have 1-7grade and they start new school from 8-10) and our oldest in second year in high school.

Since we are thinking of school at Art Anthology I have made an art journal spread with that theme.
Found some papers by BoBunny with shool theme and used bits of those.

Always with you - Scrap Around the World

Hi there :)

Today I'm showing a layout made for the challenge at Scrap Around the world
Look at the great mood board:

The photo of the elegant lady in white was what cought my eye this time.
I love to scrap in black and white and that's probably why I noticed that particular image first.

So here is my layout, with our oldest daughter and her boyfriend, outside a church.
And no..they didn't got married (age 16 and 18) but attended the Christening of his niece.

I wanted to keep the layout in black and white tones.

The background paper and all the tags are from 7Dots Studio Cold Country collection.

Used a lot of Art Anthology Gesso, laces, chipboards by Dusty Attic, tissue paper by Tim Holtz, stamps by 7Dots Studio, pearls and bling.
And of course, lots of flowers.
Some drops with whith acrylic and black India ink.
Also used black Gelato and water.

Card for a friend

Hi there, hope you all are well :)

Been busy outside lately and not so much time for creative fun.

But now and then I get some spare time and I have a lots of projects to show later on.

Here is a card, to my scrapping friend Lene, also living nearby me.
She is 40 today, and I went to see here yesterday with a gift and a card.

Most of the papers are 7Dots Studio and colors are mist by Art Anthology

Tags - DT Art Anthology

Hi there, I'm back  to show you how to make some simple tags for Art Anthology.
Hope you all are well and having a nice summer. When writing this we have just arrived home after a week in Crete.
Wonderful place and people!
You will probably see some photos from the trip on future layouts from me.

Well, back to the tags. I always keep some manilla tags beside me when creating, so easy to get cool backgrounds when I use the spilled mist from the craftsheet.
If you want to see the whole procedure , check out my blog post at Art Anthologytags

Believe in magic - art journal. The mixed media monthly challenge

Do you belive in magic? I do!!

When I saw this months challenge at The Mixed Media Monthly Challenge I just had to make something with stencils and molding paste!
Guess most of you know that I love stencils and I use it with all kind of different mediums.

Molding paste is a "kind" medium, just love it!

On this page I have used Golden's Light Molding paste together with the Peacock Feather stencil by Stencil Girl/Kae Pea

The background was done with Art Anthology Gesso and Colorations spray inks in the colors Peacock feathers, Waimea Beach and Studio Blue.

After the molding paste was dry i used Archival Ink in several colors, monarch orange, orange blossom, saffron, dandelion and viridian.
And some Peacock feathers by Tim Holtz.

I also added some archival ink with Tim Holtz new blending tool on both the background and the molding paste feathers.

Really loved how the colors turned out!

Stamped a "bit" on the background with different stamps by Tim Holtz and Lost Cost Design

Finished it up with some 7Dots Studio word stickers from Illumination collection.

Wish you all a happy evening!
