Beauty - Canvas for Art Anthology

Today I have a small canvas to show you with products by Art Anthology

On this I have used Colorations , watermelon, studio blue (love it), peacock feathers (adore it) and paprika. Also used some Sorbet – black leather jacket.
I started with gesso and used a comb to get the pattern. Loved how the colorations reacted with gesso and the structur.

I hade no goal at all with this canvas, but in the end I saw a “figure” in it, looked a bit like a horse.
So I used a magic pencil (stabilo) to make som lines/contour around the “horse”.
Even made an eye with some of the black leather jacket sorbet, mixed with water.

Well…my imaginary horse has three legs in front…. maybe it’s not a horse at all.

Do you see my “beauty”?

Heavenly adventure - DT Poppydesign

Today I want to show you a layout with a hint of spring-feeling. Well, at least it was spring when the photo of Lene and me was taken a month ago when we went to Stavanger for a crop.

I have used papers by Vibeke Spigseth - Poppydesign for Panduro, both the "heavenly adventure" and "hot airbaloons".
Cut out some of the airbaloons and some gesso and mist+paint by Art Anthology on the background.

Yummy - The Color Room and 13@rts Palette

Back from a fantastic crop weekend, filled with inspiration and happiness!
Made this on the crop, for The color room. I just loooooooved the palette based on collections from 13@rts.

And the papers from 7Dots Studio match the palette just perfect.
Here I used "spice and sugar" from the Domestic Goddess collection.
Added some gesso, some Art Anthology paint and mist, some tape and stamps, tape.

These special moments with you

Now, my bags are packed and I'm ready for a wonderful weekend with scrapping friends at a crop in Tønsberg. Plan to have a gorgeous time with good friends and new one, beeing creative, laugh - just have fun!

Totally forgot to show a layout made for the Prima PPP March.

Here is our daughter, pointing at the top of Trollveggen - "the Troll Wall", a famous place in Norway. The Troll Wall is the tallest vertical rock face in Europe, about 1,100 metres (3,600 ft) from its base to the summit of its highest point.  Had to stop to see the place on our way to Bergen a couple of years ago.

Used a lot of Prima-products, old pattern paper, flowers, wooden embellishment etc

Friends - layout for Art Anthology

A few weeks ago I went to a crop with my friend Lene. This photo is taken on the plane on our way to Stavanger. I'm rather afraid of flying so it was good to have her at my side ♥

On this layout I have used  a couple of Art Anthology products: Velvet - limeaid , with a stencil and also Sorbet - Black leather jacket (mixed with water and used a brush to make some splatters) and also on the wooden figures (aeroplanes)

Gent - DT 7Dots studio

Another layout with a photo from my trip to Gent, Belgium.
This photo is taken late night when we were going for a boat-trip on one of the rivers.
It was rather cold, snow and ice on the ground and river. But a fantastic trip with lots of buildings full of light.
According to our guide the city of Gent had received a price some years ago for their way they light their buildings.

Some work on the background (of course) with paste, stencils and stamps. I’ve also did some fussy cutting from one of the pattern papers.

veggbilde /wall hanging

Why don't you jump over at 7Dots Studio and join our flea market challenge?

I am sure you have some findings stacked in your house suitable for a flea market project.

Some time ago I found an old scissor at a flee market and knew I had to buy it, for a project. It’s been hanging in my room for a long time now, didn’t quite know what to do with it.
It was old and full of rust.

But then I decided to make a wall hanging with the scissor as a centerpiece.
And with my favourite colors of course.

I started with a book cover, painted with black gesso and did some stamping with white gesso (it’s there, but probably well hidden )
Cut out some circles from the paper “sleepless” from Dreamer Collection. Lots of old laces and some tape on the background as well.

Used Dylusions inks on the bacground and on the scissor I used Sorbets by Art Anthology in addition to some spray inks. Some small leather parts to “fasten” the scissor, also from a flee market.

I also used some stickers and alpha stickers from the Domestic Goddess collection.
Just love all the words at the bottom of those stickers.
