Here is a page where I have tried a new technique. I have used salt (as in Maldon salt) together with Dylusion inks. Turned out rather ok I believe. First I sprayed inks on the paper (watercolor paper) and then took a lot of salt into the wet ink. Let it dry a while, till it was completely dry and then just brushed the salt away. Just wanted to try this for fun, to see how the salt reacted with inks. Lots of stamping on the background as well. The text is from one of the workshops I had with Dyan last year, we got a sheet with several of her text on.

You can't buy my love - art journal for 3rd Eye

I was sitting in my crafting-room listening to some radio and suddenly the Beatles-song came up and then I knew I wanted to use that title in a journal. It's quite true - you can't buy my love!!!

I wanted to multiply the hearts (TES-056S Anatomical heart S) and ended up doing the same with the beautiful girl "Olivia". TES-037 Olivia. You might spot the "branch" (TES-075 Branch) on the background as well (love that stamp as a background stamp)
I also wanted to do the page in warm colors, to get the feeling of love and a living heart. Did some doodling on her face and on the hearts with a white pen.

Love

A layout made for the challenge at Kraft it Up where we should use sticker embellishments. Here I've used lots of stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet by 7Dots Studio - All I ever collection. Paste, stencil, distress stain, india ink and Dylusions on the background. The photo is our daugheter jumping on our trampoline, her hair going all over because of static electricity LOL

The mad hatter

Had some fun making this layout, with Johnny Depp as the character The Mad Hatter from the film Alice in Wonderland.

No secret that Johnny Depp is my favorite actor and in this role he was brilliant!! (as always :D)

Played with some Sorbets and colorations by Art Anthology and stencils. Also some yellow acrylic paint. And lots of stamping in the background.

Not a layout with much embellishments, nevertheless a fun page to
do.

I have a dream - art journal Poppydesign

Her har jeg brukte et av akvarellarkene som har en lomme fra Art Journal permen til Vibeke Spigseth - Poppydesign for Panduro. Så lurt, man kan ha masse rart i disse lommene, tags som jeg har brukt her, utklipp man har spart på til å bruke på sider i boken eller biter av ark etc. Her har jeg også brukt stemplene fra stempelplaten.

I dag vil jeg vise en Lo laget med et av de herlige arkene fra Vibeke Spigseth -Poppydesign fra den nye kolleksjonen for Panduro, Be Creative -curiosity.
Herlige ark, tykke og deilige og tåler medium kjempebra!!
Bakgrunnen er mistet med Colorations fra Art Anthology i ulike gul og rosatoner, med og uten stensiler.
De små fuglene har jeg brukt Sorbet på.

I tillegg har jeg også brukt av tapen (den rosa) samt de små tagsene med binders og biter fra paper pad + diecut shaped (som er ment for de nye bøkene "Memory book".

Bildet er fra Mossetreffet og modellene er sjefen sjøl - Vibeke og poppygirl Maria. Du verden som vi koste oss!!

I have used different colors in yellow and pink Colorations on the background, with some stencils and medium as well.
On the birds I've used Sorbet.

The photo is from a crop I went to, and the two girls are my friends and DT-collegues PoppyGirls. The one to the left is Vibeke, the owner herself of Poppydesign.

I dag vil jeg vise dere en art journal side laget for Vibeke Spigseth - Poppydesign for Panduro 

Her har jeg kost meg med et av lerretsarkene i den nye Art Journal-permen. Jeg grunnet såvidt siden litt med gesso før jeg begynte å dekke med litt maling fra Art Anthology  og sprayer. 

Når det var tørt stemplet jeg med flere av tekststemplene fra den kule stempelplaten. 

Jeg digger den nye permen til Vibeke, det at det er ulike ark i den og at det er ringer og man kan kjøpe påfyllingspakker med ulike ark!

I've used one of the canvas-sheets which is included in the journal. 

Some gesso at first and then some paints by Art Anthology  and inks. Also used several of the stamps from her new collection.

   

 

First love

Loved the colors at The color room this time and had to make something with these colors!

I've used one of the new papers by 7Dots Studio from the Love is in the air-collection "just dreaming" and tags from the same collection.
