Time of my life - DT 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi again,

Here is another layout featuring 2Crafty Chipboard.
Totally different from the one i showed you some days ago.

This time it's all about contrasts!

The background is made with stencils and Prima/Finnabair Mica Powder mixed with gel medium

Here is our youngest daughter, totally star strucked, at a concert last year, with her favorite band - 5SOS

On this layout I used the chippies natural, only with a little bit of color by an ink pad

I cut the Sammi's swirl in several pieces

I guess you can say that if you have some chippies, you don't need much other embellishments. And that I have showed you on this layout

I used the Corner Arhces as a "frame" on my photo

And this title is so perfect for my layout and the history behind it.
It really was Sarah's time of her life.
She even said to me after the concert (she is 14 years old): "mom, now I can die happy ;) "

Didn't spill any part of the chippies, so here is a leftover piece from one of the Corner Arches

Getaway - DT 2Crafty Chipboard

Hello peeps!

Today I have a fun layout featuring 2Crafty Chipboard to show you.

This one is from a crop I went to last year (in fact, it's the same crop we are going to now this weekend).
My friend Vibeke and myself drove for several hours, stayed at a hotel and had lots of fun.

Lots going on here in the layout as you see.
I loved the Messy Square Frames and used several of them as layers on top and under the photo.

I used ink pad randomly on the chippies, here you see "getaway", on of the words from the Mini Travel World set 2

Details of the frame beneath the photo and paperlayers
I love all kind of chicken wires and so happy to use these from 2Crafty.
Usually I cut them in pieces as you see here

To match the chicken wire chippie I used a chicken wire stamp as well

My background is made with Ecoline watercolor, stencils and stamps

2Crafty Chipboards used:
Chicken wire panel
Messy Square Frames
Mini travel world set 2
ATC words 1
Adornment set 1

Canvas

As you probably saw from my last post I'm practicing something new to me - drawing faces.

I don't want to draw a perfect face, I want to make funny faces.

Still practicing..... now on canvas size 30x30m

Acryl Paint by Golden and Art Anthology, some stencils

Unlock your destiny - art journal

Having some fun drawing figures and faces

It's very calming and funny.
I'm not that good at drawing, but I have decided that I don't mind, as long as I'm having fun doing it!

Golden Acrylics, stamps, stencils and black pen.

Adventure DT 2Crafty chipboard Guest Design Team at Scrap Around The World

Hi there, I'm back today with a layout featuring 2Crafty Chipboard.

This month we are Guest Design Team at Scrap Around The World.

You know that 2Crafty is one of the sponsors at Scrap Around The World? You could win awesome chippies playing along with their Mood Board!

So here is my layout, based on the amazing Mood Board designed by Heather McMahon:

Amazing colors that really made me happy!!

My layout is of course based on the fabolous colors in the mood board

My photo this time is our oldest daughter posing with Jennifer Lawrence from Hunger Games at Madame Tussauds in London.

The colors in this photo inspired me to make a background with these gorgeous colors.

Papers from K-Design and I used Heavy Gesso, Gel Medium and lots of mist on the background.
Stencils and stamps as well.

I used different methods to color the chippies.
Black Archival Ink and Silks Acrylic Glaze

Look at these amazing colors!

Free! DT Mixed Media Place

Today I want to share an art journal made for Mixed Media Place.

You know they say it’s a time for everything? Well, now it’s the time to tell yourself that you’re good enough!!
When you realize that – then you can bee FREE!

Not everything has to be perfect! Stribing for the perfect will drag you down and never let you be free.

I used some leftovers from 7Dots Studio 9th Wave collections on the background, matching the blue/turqouise ecoline. I’m in love with this color!

I love black Gelato and you see I have used it several places on my page, around the circle (under her head) and also highligting some of the bubbles.

Added some black Gelato around the edges to geth some depth.
I also used black Gelato + water when I stamped the “circle” under her head and on the right side of the page.

You can find lots of the products I have used at the store Mixed Media Place
