Creative Gym Exercise #9 Mixed Media Place

This month I made the task for the Creative Gym Exercise at Mixed Media Place.

Architecture

Check out the awesome projects by the team, they really rocked the challenge!

I love houses and everywhere I go I photograph houses. Most of all I love OLD houses like these in my project.

The photo is from Bergen (one of Norway’s largest city, located on the westcoast of Norway) and a tiny street, where we lived a week in a tiny flat some years ago. Charming old house  whith lot of memories in the walls.
The tiny street had houses in several colors as blue, pink and white, but I changed this particulary photo to black/white.

I have used 7Dots Studio 9th Wave “wavy ocean” as my background paper and lots of stencils, stamps and medium.
I used Black Gesso, Prima/Finnabair Texture Paste White Crackle, Prima/Finnabair Heavy Gesso combined with stencils and stamps on the background. Some tape and black Dylusions spray inks as well.

The chipboards by 2Crafty are painted with water and Mica Powder Teal and the flowers are by Prima Marketing.
