Way back, in 1974 I got this bird that my 10 year younger brother made at school. It's been laying in a box in the basement since I moved up to Hamar (21 years ago).
Some time ago I remembered this bird, found it and wanted to transform this rather "boring" (but good looking) bird to something more colorful.

With all these yummy paint from Art Anthology it was just a matter of time before my bird got another look.

I have used a lot of different medium and paints on this.
Gesso
Sorbet: mint julep (love that color), coral, viridian
Velvet: lagoon, terracotta, tuxedo
Stone effect: lava
Metal effect: gold, copper
Colorations: salted caramel, studio blue (on the feathers)

Så smart! Laget en slik fugl i sløyden jeg også. Men tror den er gått i søpla. Elegant og stilig ble den i allefall. Takk for ideen Marianne :)
Fantastisk :) Har gledet meg til å se resultatet av dette prosjektet som du har vist noen "sneeks" av på FB, og den ble bare helt råååååå. Megaflink er du :) Elsker alle fargene, texturene, fjærene og metallpynten. Totalt forvandling. Tror de fleste norske skolebarn på 70 tallet laget slike i sløyden hi hi. Skulle nok tatt vare på min ;)
