Art Journal for Art Journal Café

I found a new Art Journal blog some days ago, Art Journal Café
Their first challenge is: For our very first challenge, we would like to get you started based on your mantra of the day: you know, that little well formulated sentence you keep repeating yourself to motivate yourself, to stay positive, to move forward, to grow! What's your mantra of the day? What colors, textures, shapes, techniques does it inspire you?

I didn't think I had a mantra, but after thinking about the word I realize that I carry with me some words, maybe not a mantra, but they are words well placed in my heart and I do think about them everyday.

So my words are , the first one: "life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself". I believe that when I create something, it's part of my life, and beeing creative is a "brick" in the "piece of me". That's why I also has used the two words ART and CREATE on this page. The page is the first one in a new book made today. I've used brown paper bags as a base (thanks to Finnabair for inspiration), gesso, Dylusions inks, stencils, red india ink and stamps by Tim Holtz and Dylusions.
