Welcome to the Art Anthology/Altered Pages Blog Swap.
We’ve partnered with each other these last few weeks of October to offer you lots of inspiration using products from
Art Anthology and
Altered Pages.
I have some cool art journals to show you
I received to stamp sets, one with clowns and one with an Asian theme.
I decided to use both of them on two different art journal pages.
We also received some collage sheets , perfectly matching the stamps. Way too cool!!
My first page, the clown-page:
I decided to cut out some of the images on the collage sheet which I printed on photo paper (matte)
Used Colorations in the colors Waimea blue, studio blue, glorious and paprika
I also added some Velvet in the gorgeous red color Velvet.
The page is gessoed with the ever so gorgeous Art Anthology Gesso.
Cannot say how much I love that Gesso!!
Stamped some of the clowns randomly on the page.
I also used the new stencil Twilight
The next page is a page with stamps from the Asian stamps.
On this page, I used a collage sheet with letters as the background.
It's gessoed and colored with Colorations - Hottie, Heart, Salted Caramel
Here I used the new stencil Cracked
On this image you see the difference on how Colorations react when the page is Gessoed or not. I gessoed the letter collage sheet rather randomly and you see at the bottom that the colors from the mist is much brighter. It's the same color as the rest of the page, just that the it's without gesso.
You can spot the Altered Pages collage sheet image in the lady's face and also several other placed on the page
Hope you liked my pages and remember to check back with us every day for more inspirational projects.
There will be an Art Anthology/Altered Pages Prize Pack given away to one of our lucky commenters, so make sure you comment each day on both the Art Anthology and Altered Pages blog!
And don’t forget to visit the Altered Pages Facebook page and tell them
